St. Lorenz is hosting a Mental Health & Suicide Awareness Event on Wednesday, August 17th, at 7:30 pm in the Worship & Event Center. 

Barb Smith, Executive Director of the Suicide Resource and Response Network will speak to high school students and the adults in their life - parents, grandparents, teachers, and coaches. 

Attendees will learn how to recognize someone who may be struggling with their mental health, how to have safe and effective conversations, and what resources are available to them. 

Anyone with a compassionate heart for our youth is welcome to attend.
