Caring for kids despite COVID and Michigan weather!

Kristy Haskell is one of a kind. Not only is Kristy busy as a mom, school volunteer, our crossing guard, she works for the City of Frankenmuth as a water meter reader.

List Elementary Principal Jill Waliczek describes Kristy this way. "FSD is a special place because of all of the people who come together and contribute to our amazing culture. And Kristy Haskell is definitely one of these people.

As our school crossing guard, Kristy reports to work without fail, rain or shine, to ensure that kids get to school safe and that traffic flows smoothly. Kristy knows most of our students well and is sometimes the first adult they interact with outside of their home. She provides a sense of routine and safety to our students who walk to school each day. We are so grateful for her!"
